The Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization supported by progressive, forward-looking citizens; these people are principally people in the business community who promote the strength and vitality of the Borough of Hawthorne.

To carry out its mission, the Chamber undertakes a number of important community activities. These activities cover a broad range and the objective is always to enhance and improve the quality of life in Hawthorne; from the annual scholarship award for a deserving student, the annual Fishing Derby held in September to the Santa Parade in December and much more. The Chamber has become an integral part of community life in Hawthorne.

Reactivated in 1977, our Chamber puts forth a sincere effort to aid the community and to make Hawthorne prosperous, beautiful, and a better place in which to live and transact business. By doing business in Hawthorne, we share in its prosperity and invest our time, effort and resources toward the community that is important to all of us.

Quarterly, we hold dinner meetings where we reacquaint with other members, swap business cards, ad share ideas on how to improve our own businesses as well as improving the business community in Hawthorne. Our Company of the Year dinner, held in January, honors a business in Hawthorne as well as welcoming in our new slate of officers.

The Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce can only be as good as the members who actively support the organization and its mission. If you have supported the Chamber in the past, your efforts are greatly appreciated. If you are new to the area, or are thinking of joining for the first time, we welcome you.
